Mr. Ghyanendra Nath Bajpai is a distinguished leader in Indian business, most recently as the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Chairman of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).

Mr. Bajpai is known for his visionary leadership and exemplary integrity. He has served as non-Executive Chairman and a director on corporate boards in India and other countries, received awards for contribution to business, and authored several books. Mr. Bajpai has been Chairman of the Corporate Governance Task Force of International Organization of Securities Commissions, Insurance Institute of India & served on the Governing Boards of Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and National Insurance Academy.

Mr. Bajpai has been a member of Board of Directors inter-alia at General Insurance Corporation of India, ICICI Bank, Unit Trust of India, UTI Bank, Tata Chemicals, Jindal Vijay Nagar Steel, Thane Electric Supply Co., National Housing Bank, Discount & Finance House, Indian Railway Finance Corporation, India International Insurance Ltd., Singapore and Ken-India Ltd. Nairobi (Africa). Mr. Bajpai was also Non-Executive Chairman of National Stock Exchange, Stock Holding Corporation of India, LIC Housing Finance Ltd, LIC Care Homes and LIC International EC Bahrain and LIC Nepal Ltd.

He has delivered lectures including at London School of Economics (LSE), Harvard University and MIT and also addressed Stanford University, OECD & IMF seminars. He received among others the Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Finance award from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Dr. Kim Chai Ooi

Country Manager, Future Generali

Dr. Kim Chai Ooi is the Country Manager of Future Generali. He also serves as Director on the Board of both the Companies.

Dr. Kim has more than 20 years of rich leadership experience in the insurance space in various geographies namely Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and India. Prior to joining Generali Group in 2001, he has held various senior positions in AIA in Malaysia, Hong Kong and China. His previous assignments and important career events include setting up Generali China Joint Venture operations in 2001 and leading it towards achieving the status of Chinas No. 1 Foreign Insurer in year 2005. He has also set up the first foreign insurer in Guangdong, China in 1995.

A firm believer in knowledge management, Dr. Kim has been practicing continuous lifetime learning. He is also a Post Doctorate Fellow of Research Centre for Insurance & Economic Development in Chinese Academy of Social Science.

Dr. Kim Chai Ooi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1983 and Diploma in Business Studies in 1986. From 1999 to 2003, he continued to pursue his academic research and graduated with PhD in Economics from Wuhan University, Peoples Republic of China.

Mr. Deepak Sood

Mr. Deepak Sood is the Chief Executive Officer of Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Limited. He is responsible for the entire business of Life Insurance in India.

Mr. Sood has over 19 years of rich professional experience in Insurance industry. Prior to joining Future Generali, Mr. Deepak Sood worked with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited, where he was heading business development of the company. He has also worked with Zurich Risk Management Services where he handled their insurance project and United India Insurance where he worked for more than ten years in various capacities.

Mr. Sood holds a Masters degree in Science from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi, and is a Fellow of Insurance Institute of India.

Mr. G N Agarwal

Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer,

Mr. G N Agarwal is the Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer of Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Limited. He has 37 years of experience in Life Insurance Industry and is responsible for providing overall leadership, vision and direction in Actuarial and Enterprise Risk Management of the company. Prior to Joining Future Generali, he was with LIC as Executive Director (Actuarial).

Mr. Agarwal is President of the Institute of Actuaries of India since March 2007. He is member of a number of National and International committees such as Insurance Advisory Committee of IRDA, Management and Technical committee of MMIC, Executive Committee and President Forum of the International Actuarial Association, etc.

Mr. Agarwal specializes in Actuarial, Pensions, Risk Management and Social Security matters. He has presented several papers in a number of National and International conferences on Insurance, Pension and Social Security matters. The first Annuitants’ mortality table of India LIC a (1996-98) was completed under his supervision and was published in year 2000.

Mr. Agarwal is Post Graduate in Mathematics and Fellow of Institute of Actuaries of India.

Mr. Nirakar Pradhan

Mr. Nirakar Pradhan is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and is in charge of managing the funds on behalf of Future Generali India .

Nirakar has 25 years of experience in the financial sector including the last 11 years in Treasury, Investment & Portfolio Management in India and abroad. His last assignment was with SBI  in Germany. He is a Ph.D in Business Administration, a CAIIB,  and a certified Financial Risk Manager from Global Association of Risk Professionals, USA.

He has several professional memberships like CFA Institute, GARP, PRMIA and has also published several articles in financial journals and newspapers.

Mr. Arnab Malik

Arnab Mallik is the Chief Marketing Officer. Arnab reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Life.

The Distribution Channel Heads, MIS, and Product Development report to Arnab.

Arnab Mallik is a Post-Graduate in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A). He has over 20 years of experience in Banking and Life Insurance across companies like American Express Bank, Max New York Life Insurance and Tata AIG Life Insurance. His last assignment was with Reliance Retail Limited where he was the Senior Vice President & Head of Distribution for the Financial Services and Travel products.

He is a strategic leader with a track record of consistently beating the business projections, building dynamic teams across geographies, and identifying high-yielding services and products. Some of the positions held by him earlier to his stint at Reliance were VP & Head Bancassurance at Max New York Life Insurance and Asst Director, Alternate Channels at TATA AIG Life Insurance.

Anup Chandak is the Chief Financial Officer of Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Limited

He has over 13 years of professional experience. Prior to joining Future Generali, he was the Financial Controller at Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company Ltd and prior to that was AVP at SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant and has been in financial services for the last 13 years.

Mr. Rajeev Shirodkar

Rajeev Shirodkar has over 25 years of working experience with Technology. Rajeev has successfully built, lead, & motivated teams to deliver business value through implementation of business solutions & services across Hospitality & Allied Industries, Travel Trade & Manufacturing Industry.

He has worked in senior positions in the R K Group and been the CIO for the Raymond Group. He was also involved in founding a software company to deliver a shrink wrapped software product. Prior to that he has worked with the Taj Group of Companies carrying the systems responsibility for all International units of the Taj, based out of London.

Rajeev holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering & M.S. in Electrical Engineering from NJIT.

Rajeev has been a CIO-100 honoree for two successive years since the inception of the award in 2006.
