A. Ocean Transit:

• Short Landing Certificate/ Landed But Missing Cargo

• Bill of Entry
• Steamer Survey report
• Copy of Claim Notice
• Lost Overboard Certificate – Issued by the master of the ship for the goods lost by falling in the sea while loading/ unloading (Sling Losses)
• Duty Refund (application for refund of Duty with Custom’s authority, if applicable) Survey Report
• Letter of Subrogation cum special power of attorney (if applicable)
• Banker’s Certificate confirming non-receipt of exports proceeds in India in an approved manner.

Engineering

The documents listed below are applicable generally across all the Policies under this branch. Extra documents specific to the type of Policy are mentioned separately in the respective sections:

• Copy of the Policy & Endorsements (if any)
• Survey Report

• Estimate of loss
• Departmental note regarding the cause and nature of loss along with supporting log books if any
• Repair bills & receipt
• F.I.R if necessary. (In case of malicious act; involvement of TPPI, TPPD)
• Fire Brigade Report( In case of loss due to fire)

A. Machinery Insurance Policy

• As mentioned in the list of suggested documents.

B. MB Loss of Profit Policy

• Claim form duly filled in and signed by the insured
• Books of Accounts
• Business Trends, Production & sales record
• Details about the savings in standing charges
• Details of Increased cost of working

C. Boiler & Pressure Plant Explosion

Apart from the documents suggested in the general List following documents will be called for:
• Latest Boiler inspector’s report
• Boiler inspection report on the incident

D. Electronic Equipment Policy

• As mentioned in the List of Suggested Documents. In addition to this copy of A.M.C, if any, on case to case basis.

E. Storage cum Erection Policy (SCE / EAR)

• As mentioned in the List of Suggested Documents. Further additional documents may be called for depending on the nature of the claim.

F. Contractors All Risk Policy

• As mentioned in the List of Suggested Documents. Further additional documents may be called for depending on the nature of the claim.

G. Contractors Plant & Machinery Policy

• As mentioned in the List of Suggested Documents. Further additional documents may be called for depending on the nature of the claim.
