Future Generali appoints Sanjay Kumar Jha as Head, Agency channel

Mumbai, 01 June 2010: Sanjay Kumar Jha has been appointed as Head, Agency Channel, w.e.f. 15th May, 2010. He will work closely with Arnab Mallik, Chief Marketing Officer, Future Generali India Life Insurance Co Ltd.
Sanjay’s key role and responsibility in the company will be to give further impetus to the Agency Channel, thereby increasing penetration and reach of Future Generali’s basket of products. In doing so he will help expand the Agency channel base and up their productivity levels.
Sanjay began his career with LIC of India, where his last assignment was as a Branch Manager handling multiple branches in Mumbai and Thane divisions. He subsequently joined Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd. as a Branch Manager and grew successfully within the organization where he eventually held the position of Senior Vice President and Zonal Manager North. He was responsible for Developing Agency Channel in North India and was also in charge of Pension business pan India, providing training, Brand Development & developing strategy on Business penetration etc. Under his leadership north zone became the largest contributor to Agency Channel in Bajaj Allianz.
Sanjay is a Post Graduate in Business Management from IGNOU. He is also a Fellow Member of Insurance Institute of India.
